I liked this banner, not only for its graphic elements (the modern squares and circles of different colors and in no particular order), but also because of its typography. The whole sign has a "homemade" feel to it to me, so the variations in line weight and size of the "cafe" type really complements that. The middle text is neither too big nor too small. Even though it is obviously computer-generated, it doesn't distract from the piece. Since it's composed in a very geometric rectangle, it fits nicely with the squares and circles. The logo is the only part of the banner that I don't like. I think it breaks the mood of the piece, b/c it's cursive and italicized with a line under it. Obviously, the designer had to incorporate the logo, and it's not horrible. I just don't like it as much as the rest of the banner.
