I love Chicago

Sunday:
Ate breakfast at Cosi.

Caroline and I went to Park Community Church. It meets inside a school (that I think is an art school). The band and preaching were just okay. Nothing like last week, but last week would be pretty hard to top. I would go back there again, but I would try new places, too.

Came back to the hotel and met Pink in Chinatown. We had Dim Sum, which is pretty amazing. It's a whole bunch of Chinese "appetizers".

We walked around Navy Pier and walked in the sand on the beach.

We walked around the Ukrainian Village. We didn't really see much there. Then, we took a walk through the Hispanic area of town. Finally, we hopped on a train to Greektown. When we got to Greektown, we planned on catching a bus to the restaurant section, but we kept walking the opposite way down one-way streets. That insured that no bus was going to pick us up and take us in the direction that we desired. So, this turned out to be a very long walk. But, we finally got to the Greek Islands restaurant and had a somewhat impressive meal. We each ordered a combo meal and we each liked one thing out of two.

Total blocks walked: many

Monday:
slept in

went to the Body Worlds 2 exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry

ran to my appointment at Apartment People. Looked at one really dingy apartment and one that would suffice.

Sat in Starbucks and called other apartment places and made appointments.

Met a lady who went to The Creative Circus (the Portfolio Center's rival) in Atlanta and now has a job in Chicago.

Walked 2 hours back to the hotel, b/c it was a pretty day.

Went to Little Italy and ate a wonderful meal at RoSal's. Now, we are sleepy and full and happy.
